Shimmer Wallpapers
Terms of Service
Shimmer
Version v1.0 · Effective 2026-10-01 · App: Shimmer (package com.shimmerwallpapers)
Shimmer is an AI live-wallpaper app. This agreement explains how you may use the service, how accounts and credits work,
what you may publish in the community, and where the line of responsibility lies between us. Please read and agree before using the app.
1. The service
Shimmer is an AI live-wallpaper app: you submit a generation request with a prompt (and optionally one reference photo), we send it to our own GPU generation servers to run inference, and we return the resulting video and cover so you can download them, set them as a live wallpaper, or publish them to Discover. Capabilities, queue order and available resolutions change with server load and client versions, and features may be added, changed or retired.
2. Accounts and credits
- You need an account to generate, keep and publish works; please register with a reachable email and keep your password safe.
- Credits have exactly one purpose: paying for AI generation. They are deducted when you submit at the tier you chose, and automatically refunded if generation fails.
- Browsing, downloading other people's public works, following and liking are free and consume no credits.
- Credits come from purchases or promotions; purchases are handled by Google Play, credits cannot be refunded or cashed out, and unused credits are lost when an account is deleted.
- Do not use scripts, multiple accounts or other abnormal means to farm credits or rewards; if we detect it we may reclaim the credits and restrict the account.
3. Your content and community rules
- You are responsible for everything you upload and generate (prompts, reference photos, the videos and covers you create) and must hold the necessary rights.
- You must not upload or publish: content that infringes copyright, trademarks, portrait or other rights; sexual, violent, gory, terror, hateful or discriminatory content; content that reveals someone else's private information (for example photos of real people used without consent); content that breaks the law or public order; spam and malicious or harmful content.
- Submissions are reviewed before they appear in Discover, and we do not guarantee that any submission will be shown.
- Reporting and blocking: you can report works or users, and block people you no longer want to see or be seen by. If we confirm a violation we take the content down and, depending on severity, restrict or ban the account. If you disagree with a decision, contact us as described in section 6.
- You keep the rights to your own works; by publishing to Discover you grant us permission to display, distribute and recommend that work inside the app in order to run the community (you may un-publish at any time).
4. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- The service is provided "as is". AI output is random: we do not guarantee that results will match your expectations, nor that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for interruptions or data loss caused by network failures, device faults or events beyond our control.
- If you breach this agreement or the law and cause loss to us or to a third party, you are responsible for it.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law we give no express or implied warranties for the service, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
5. Changes and termination
- We may update this agreement as features and legal requirements change; when we do, we update the version number and effective date at the top of this page, and announce material changes in the app. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated agreement.
- You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time, which terminates this agreement (see How to delete your account).
- If you breach this agreement we may warn you, restrict features, or ban or delete the account.
6. Contact
For any question, complaint or report about this agreement, contact [email protected] (if no mailbox is shown here, use the developer contact address on our Google Play store page — that address is always up to date). For privacy matters see the Privacy Policy.
